The wind ensemble, wind symphony and symphonic band are an amazing opportunity for your student to perform world-class music and receive top-notch instruction by Mr. Tyree and the band staff. There are multiple concerts during the year including the chance to tryout for district honor band and all-state band. We invite you to join with us this year and increase your musicianship while you gain class credit.

Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band Attire
Girls
West Forsyth High School Band approved long black dress ordered through West Forsyth Band Boosters. Fitting and ordering usually takes place in the middle of marching band season. Hemming is at the expense of the parents.
Black dress shoes – no sandals.
Boys
West Forsyth High School Band approved black tuxedos purchased at Tuxedo Warehouse in Cumming. More information will follow later in the marching band season.
Black dress shoes and socks must be worn, no sneakers or sandals.
