Bands and Groups
The Pride of the West is a multi-faceted, award winning group of young musicians. We invite you to dig in and meet the bands under the direction of Director of Bands, Josh Tyree and Assistant Band Directors, John Herndon and Al Estep.
Traditional marching band season starts in late-July and finishes around November. The Pride of the West is an award-winning competitive marching band here in North Georgia.

A select group of students dedicated to the study and performance of jazz in various concerts, festivals, and community events .
This award-winning competitive performance group showcases superior talent and colorful choreography in both marching season and in indoor arena in the winter.
The former GIPA champion indoor drumline at West combines a powerful mix of musicality, choreography and performance in a highly-competitive arena during the winter season.
